Both sites appear to date to the Early to Middle Archaic transition based on the presence of Stanly Stemmed points (weakly bifurcated stemmed projectile points). Sites of this time period and cultural affiliation are very rare in Ontario. The sites produced evidence of a complex settlement pattern that included a base camp (the Farrugie Site) and three smaller activity areas (the Leschuck-Weisz Site). The vast majority of the artifacts from the sites bear evidence of extensive thermal alteration.</style>
</record></records></xml>
