Its goal is to compile digital photographs of all accessible Yukon projectile points and make the database available in a web format. Since 2002, nearly 500 records have been entered in the database, representing the majority of Yukon projectile points held in public repositories. Associated dates are included in the database where available. Direct dating of certain Yukon projectile point types has been achieved in recent years in a small sample of hafted and unhafted projectiles from alpine ice in southern areas of the Yukon. This paper presents an overview of the Yukon Projectile Point Database and provides preliminary observations on point typology in the Yukon and their implications for the present projectile point sequence established during the 1960s and 1970s.</style>
</record></records></xml>
