Mima Kapches

1992 is the 25th Anniversary of the founding of the Canadian Archaeological Association. The first scholarly publication of the Association was the Bulletin. No. 1 appeared in 1969 and No. 8, the last of the series, in 1976. In 1977 the Canadian Journal of Archaeology, Journal Canadien d'Archéologie, Volume 1, was launched. It is appropriate, considering this is an anniversary year, that this issue, Vol. 16, include an Index of Volumes 1 through 15 of the Journal. It was decided not to merge the Journal and the Bulletin indices since they are separate series. Therefore, the next Volume of the Journal will include the index of the Bulletin. The compilation of this index is considered an appropriate commemoration by the Journal of the 25th Anniversary of the CAA.
