Mima Kapaches

Volume 17 of the Canadian Journal of Archaeology/Journal Canadien d’Archéologie includes several articles of interest to archaeologists and researchers across Canada. There was such an enthusiastic response to Alison Wylie’s Banquet talk at the Annual Meeting in London, Ontario, in May that it was decided to include it (after review) in this Volume. Because of the timeliness of her paper it was further decided to present the article in both official languages. The translation costs for this were born by the CAA and Professor Wylie’s SSHRC grant. It must be acknowledged that Claude Chapdelaine provided considerable input into the clarity of the French translation of this article.
