Volume
18, 1994 is the third volume of the Canadian
Journal of Archaeology/
Journal Canadien d’Archéologie
which I have edited. In this issue yet
another new
approach is taken in the format of the
journal. When David Burley’s article “A
Never
Ending Story’ was accepted I decided
that the subject was of sufficient national
interest
that it should be accompanied with solicited
commentary in the Dialogue section of
the
journal. To this end, letters were sent
to over twenty archaeologists in Canada
to ask if
they would be interested in taking part
in this process.
