Abstract

This paper presents the results of a brief archaeological reconnaissance of the Hebron Mission (1830-1959) site conducted in 1990. Arguably among the preeminent 'historical' properties along Canada's Atlantic coast, the site also contains extensive remains of pre-missionary activity by Thule and Dorset occupants.
