My Life with Dr. B. in the '50s

Maureen Carlson

Abstract

As a student of Carl Borden's at U.B.C. in the early 1950's, I worked as his lab assistant and participated in field work over a number of years at Musqueam, Chinlac, Tweedsmuir Park, The Kootenay Survey and the Milliken Site. A few stories and slides will be shared to remember my favourite professor and the early days of archaeology in B.C.
